Arriving early is your fault, period, and there’s no excuse, especially an hour early!!  You go on to blame the traffic then say you often arrive early and have been allowed in without problem, I suspect you just like to push your luck!
The wardens have other tasks other than to open up early just so you can get a better pitch.  How about abiding by the rules like the rest of us, plan better be less selfish and I suspect the busy wardens will be more helpful.

I agree with everything the previous member said about this post. Plus why do you think a complete stranger caravan maintenance man should be allowed on the site when my twice vaccinated daughter is not allowed to visit me. Why should the fact that he is on the CC Committee make a difference. Do they not get Covid. I have been a member for over 40 years and have seen all the site wardens and do not consider either action wrong. I have seen many jobsworth site wardens over the years. This is not an example.
