This site is in a good position for visiting the New Forest and for getting down to the coast. We stayed Monday to Friday in early October and were very fortunate with the weather. In fact, one of the days, walking at Milford, I had to apply sun cream. We have stayed on the site a few times and it continues to match expectations. You can walk or cycle into the Forest so you can leave your vehicle where it is, on the site. The wardens are friendly and helpful. They keep the site clean and tidy. It's interesting to see that the site is also expanding. My only comment would be for the grass to be cut between bookings. Whilst we were on a hardstanding pitch, the grass on either side was quite long. We will definitely return. Recommend the café at the nursery, in Bransgore, on the Burley Road.
