This is a great site for visiting the New Forest and beach locations. I know the Forest well and this is a great site for cycling from. The site is vast. Of course after lock down we all want to get out and about. It was very full. I didn’t like driving round searching for a pitch. If only we could of been told which pitches were available. Can’t that be done these days by computer? Other people were also saying they had driven round and round the site. I would imagine there was well over 500 caravans and motorhomes. The wrist band system ( take one on entering the toilet block put it back in sterilised jar when leaving ) didn’t work. I think people were just forgetting to do it. The site was very clean and the staff worked hard. I loved the fact you could get takeaways on the site for most days. A great spot on a disused American WW2 airbase. We will go again.
