We visit this site at least twice per year, usually for 2 weeks at a time. Good facilities, good wardens, well kept site, everything we have gone to expect of the club. Now the BUT. It is becoming increasingly annoying and to be perfectly honest disgusting the way other members with dogs seem to deem it acceptable to allow their “best friend” to foul in any place they choose. This includes the grass between pitches or behind other people’s vans. It got to the point that two people came out of their vans let the dog do it’s motions behind our van, admittedly clear up(which incidentally still leaves some deposit) snd go back to their van. Bearing in mind this is right opposite the dog walk. Anyone, including children can get dog mess on them just by walking or sitting on the grass. Urine, has the same effect. It is completely unacceptable behaviour to put others through this disgusting habit. This is not exercising your dog, it’s allowing it to do a toilet. The club should really clamp down on this disgusting behaviour, believe it or not, there are people who do not have dogs and do not want to have to keep looking out for others peoples disgusting mess. It’s about time people started to act responsibly with their pets, even to the point of not leaving pets unattended in vans while they go out and enjoy themselves. This is not confined to this site.
