First Visit, In Fact First Caravan Experience

We, Harry (Dog) and I really enjoyed our brief stay, all people we met and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Very clean and peaceful. I would have preferred bigger free roaming areas for the dog, but as this was my first experience of a caravan club site, these might have been quite big on average? A clubhouse serving a few drinks and some hot food would have been good too, especially as there is not much in a short walking distance, luckily we had a bike and dog trailer and made full use of the pubs a few miles away. A doubt if this has been very helpful for others looking at the site as I know not what I talk about.

I’m glad you enjoyed your stay, G&H, but I’m puzzled by some of your comments.

The Centenary site has one of the biggest dog walk fields I’ve come across so I’m not sure what it is you want.

Only a small handful of club sites have bars/restaurants - they are very much in the minority. A lot of people feel no need for such facilities and providing them does have the downside of tending to make site fees more expensive. There are several pubs and eateries within just a few miles of this site so there is probably very little call for an on site facility.
