We are just finishing our twelve day stay at the site, on arrival we we’re greeted by the very friendly duty warden who was most obliging in helping us choose the sort of pitch location we like and gave us some good ideas as to locations worth a visit in the area. Throughout our stay the wardens have worked tirelessly (even in monsoon weather) to ensure the site is kept in a tip-top condition and the facilities are a credit to the network. A special mention to our next door neighbours Stuart and his wife (Wardens at the site) who although their motorhome was surrounded by members were happy to give advice at any time of the day even on their rest day! In retirement we tend not to visit the same location twice but the centenary site will certainly be the exception to the rule both for The wonderful National Park and the excellent overal site.
