Just returned from a 4 day site at one of the best CMH sites we have stayed on. Not the conventional lay out which is all to the good as the pitched have been moulded into fit the contours and layout of the gorse bushes. I would imagine it gets very windy on this site but we had only a slight breeze and the sea was almost like a pond. The dog loved it and had miles of empty sand and a gently slope off into the sea to swim in. I would be perfectly happy for younger children to swim here as sea remained very shallow for quite a distance. A bit of a drive off the main roads but well worth it for the peace and quiet. On a visit to the nearby Mull of Galloway we saw deer, seals and dolphins. A site I will certainly visit again. Must also say this is the best site I have been on for the conduct of other users. Toilets and showers were always spotless - very unusual when most piches are grass and people adhered to speed limits which made our stay all the better. Thanks to all
