Nice site but remote.

Had a pleasant two nights at Morvich with the dog. Wardens were fine. Site is tidy and well laid out but a bit remote with little to do within walking distance. Add to this no TV reception or radio and it can lead to a boring evening. Take DVD's with you.

Wonderful site in amazing surroundings

Lovely clean, peaceful site. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Will certainly be going back again. Not the biggest site and very secluded, but best site we have used so far.

Amazing Setting

What a little gem this is, and with such lovely, helpful wardens. Surrounded by mountains, so superb scenic surroundings. Excellent facilities that are kept spotless and with a good sized motorhome service point. Useful to have the laundry, especially when you have been on the road for 3 months!! Considering the surroundings, the pitches were very level. Good wi fi as well

chillout man !!

We arrived on site after a week at Dunnet bay caravan club site . Love it, third year in a row. Great setting surrounded by all the mountains etc , facilities excellent as caravan club standard very friendly lady warden on arrival. Only bugbear was the male wardens could have been a bit more friendly towards people. One guy in particular a bit of a jobsworth I felt. People are on holiday to relax and chillout never got a nod or morning or any acknowledgement from him any time in a week. I did hear him telling the other warden to go and check a motorhome that was on its way out the site to see if they had a receipt as he didn't recognise the no plate ? surely he could have looked up records. Otherwise had a fantastic time cycling running and hillwalking and chilling out at night time in our wee van. Keep up the good work its caravan club sites for us all the way as the facilities are second to non.

Pleasant and peaceful site

The site was pleasant and well kept. It was very quiet, good for walkers and hikers. It was a little bit out of the way for general tourists.  Castle nearby to visit and not far from Isle of Skye, but other than that a bit quiet. The scenery was stunning and there was a good scenic route quite near to caravan site.  The wildlife was good.  Didn't go as a family party,  I would have thought a bit quiet. Wardens were helpful and friendly.

Can't comment

We didn't make it to Morvich. We were put off by the uncaring and unsympathetic attitude of the warden when we phoned to explain that we could be a little late due to the road closed at Fort William because of a fatality. I know rules are rules but don't need telling that when we've been on the road all day and not moved in ninety minutes. " Go to another site then" was her closing line. It was all academic as the road was closed for five hours. Not sure what the club could do to avoid this, it certainly wouldn't happen at a commercial site. It came as a shock as we are used to travelling through Europe where a much better approach is the norm.  Anyway, we took her advice and ended up at the Bunree club site. Had a terrific week, great site, beautifully managed.

Booked two nights and stayed for six

The site is lovely, it's quiet and friendly with helpful helpful staff. It's ideally placed for exploring the spectacular surroundings. Skye is just half an hour away so you can easily visit the island and return to the tranquillity of the campsite. Excellent local short walk (details available from the office). When we visited the cable TV wasn't working, but the scenery is so beautiful that you don't need the telly.
