Not bad but needs some key improvements

This is our first visit to the site and we are on pitch 80. The layout and toilet facilities are up to the usual caravan club standards. However, TV reception by aerial is non existent and we were only able to receive BBC1 and BBC2 channels when using a coax cable plugged into the electric post.  Additionally, the WiFi reception (for which we have paid for a 12 month contract) is VERY poor in the caravan but is better outside.  The office and shop that is run by the wardens is excellent.  The village of Morton is around 15 minutes walk away and has many pubs and eateries. If the TV reception can be sorted and the WiFi coverage improved, this would definitely be a 5 star site.

Marvellous Moreton in Marsh

This is our second visit to this site and we were not disappointed. Upon arrival we were told where to find a grass pitch (this is what we prefer) and so off we went. Our pitch was a large pitch which enabled our two children to set up their outside games which kept them happy for our 7 night stay. The site is very well organised and maintained and is only 10 minutes walk from the town which has everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. The wardens and their team are so friendly and helpful (enabling me to print some tickets I needed for Countryfile Live). There is plenty to do and see in the surrounding area and you will not be disappointed as the villages and towns are all picture postcard places. We would highly recommend members to visit this site and hope to return very soon!

Excellent location

Greeted by a smiling warden and given a choice of pitches. The one we chose was near to toilets and showers and close to the dog walk where they are allowed to run off the lead.

Such A Good Site

This site is so well organised and maintained and is only 10 minutes walk from the town. Some the hardstanding pitches are smaller than most other Club sites and can be a bit awkward to manoeuvre into with a large motorhome without driving on the grass but this is only a minor observation. The wardens and their team are so friendly and helpful. This was our second visit and we will return soon, probably after the school holidays. There was one group of irritatingly noisy children but they were quietened by one of the members. That should of course have been done by their parents. The formal play area is on the edge of the site and is normally not within hearing range of the members. Apart from that it is a quiet and peaceful site. I recommend members to visit this site. Moreton is a small bustling Cotswold town with many really good food outlets and interesting shops.

Caravan club standards

Have now stayed at this site twice but only just now in August.    Admittedly the site was full but we were quite disappointed with the standards in the toilet blocks both men and ladies.    It would be better if they had been checked/cleaned more than the once a day scheduled.    The site is in a good location with only a short walk into the town for shopping etc.

Three Day Break

I would recommend this caravan club site, it is in a lovely spot, only being a few minutes walk into Moreton-in-Marsh. The site is very clean and a peaceful place to stay. Freshly made pizzas are available two nights a week which are delicious and good value for money if you cant be bothered to cook. There are also a number of tourist attractions within a couple of miles of the site - the Cotswold Falconry Centre at Batsford is well worth a visit.

Short summer break

Lovely clean & well maintained site. Wardens very friendly & helpful. We own a dog & really enjoyed using the well maintained dog walk. Shame on the owners who did not clean up after their dog. Only one complaint continuous dog barking by inconsiderate caravanners.

good but noisey

Nice site and staff, but a big problem is the noise of the equipment in daily use on the site, in particular, one warden spent hours going round the site with a motorised path cleaner which must have been about 150 decibels! The warden wore ear defenders all day but I haven't got them!  I do have a motorbike , and if it made anywhere near that noise , it would not pass an mot.    Health and safety comment , Caravan Club ?
