Our favourite English site doesn't disappoint
The site seems to be bypassed by the Club's drive for modernisation. It remains a traditional site in a peaceful location. Easy to find. The site is narrow and large outfits will be restricted to the larger pitches.
Wifi is limited to a hotspot by reception.
We took a bus ride to Weobly - pretty village with a good map guide - and had 'cider and a pie' in the Salutation. Excellent food, service and price. There is parking at Weobly but motorhomes will find it limited. We also took the bus into Hereford which looked a little neglected; the Cathedral was closed to the public because of a Graduation Ceremony.
Bus stop is at the end of the road [about 5 minute easy walk] with a limited service into Wales and Hereford. The bus stop on the Hereford side has limited standing room and may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
Herefordshire is a lovely county with a black & white village tour, no shortage of orchards and arable farming, and plenty of cider to drink.
