We have just returned from a 6 day break here. Whilst there was some noise from the A1 and the train track 1/3 of a mile away it didn't spoil our holiday. The wardens are extremely friendly and helpful and the toilet and shower blocks are kept very clean and tidy. The dog walk is lovely and peaceful and the lake and pond areas are well kept and pleasant to stroll around. There is a lot of bird life around the site with bird boxes in most of the trees. My wife and I highly recommend this site and will be returning next year.
