We returned to milestone this weekend after about four years, we did not stop going because of anything at the site but simply because of a more local site that was more convenient for us. This weekend we stayed at the site for two nights, driving home we tried to decide wether we would return, and decided probably not. It's a site that has become very mixed with its identity, it's a touring site, with owner cabins on, with a lot of seasonal pitches with part time occupancy, we pitched next to a van with a outlook of a white transit van parked next to. It's a lovely site in not too bad a location, great toilets ( not sure about the timed flow showers ) wardens very polite and helpful. This isn't a complaint it's a simple confused visitor. If your looking for a stop over its ideal, if your looking for a weeks holiday well, I would think twice. Sorry owners but I came away confused.
