As a result of the wet weather we decided to look for reasonably priced sites with hard standing that wasn't too far from home and plumped for Milestone. Turns out we made a good choice. Check in was very easy and the 2 reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The site is very clean and well landscaped, I imagine it looks even better on sunny days. The 2 toilet blocks are well heated and also kept clean. I don't know how busy they would get in summer but the site was pretty full when we was there and I never had to queue for showers etc. (2 showers per block) As close to the A1 as we was the noise was minimal. All in all a very pleasant short break.
