This club site is situated in the centre of the lovely village of Melrose with the famous abbey close at hand which is well worth a visit. the village has plenty cafe's and pub's to eat out if you can't be bothered cooking. Although there is a good sized co-op about 100yds from the gate. The site itself is tidy and well looked after. The wardens are excellent and will help, if like us' you are newbie's.Shower block is clean and tidy. The only downside we found was that there was some road noise from the by-pass during the day but not at night. the location is great for exploring the borders, very central, and if you fancy a trip to Edinburgh, the borders railway has a station about 3 miles away. All in all a nice site in a great area
