Having stayed at this site many times in the past and enjoyed it last weeks visit was a let down. We had the misfortune to pitch backing on to the adjacent playing field ( pitch chosen due to the proximity of the toilet block) and we were very often bothered by footballs coming over the hedge and at one point our car was hit by one! There is a gate into the playing field adjoining pitch 32 which we were on which was used by the ball retrievers despite the fact that it was locked! They would just climb over! Despite the fact that the toilet block is very " tired " and could do with updating this site, as far as I can tell, is one of the most expensive of the Scottish sites but does not live up to the costs charged. We will hesitate to visit again unless some method is employed to prevent possible damage to cars and caravans by footballs and the facilities upgraded to warrant the high charges.
