We had 3 nights at this site on on way up to the Highlands and it was one of those sites of which you say I wish we were there longer, we would certainly go back. Lovely wardens, lovely well kept site and so handy for the town, just 5 mins stroll away with some great shops, butchers, bakeries cafe's, restaurants and bars. If you like history then there's the Abbey and the Trimontium Roman museum. We like walking and were spoit for choice, some nice walks down by the river and then there is the Eildon Walk which is well worth the effort for the fabulous views back over the town and a 360 degree vista on a clear day. We were sad to leave and will definitely go back on our next adventure north.
