Great winter break site
We regularly visit this site in Spring, Autumn and winter as it is easily accessible from the NE of England. The town is compact and has lots of interesting facilities and places and is a few minutes walk from the sile.
There are lots of good walks directly from the site and Abbotsford House is well worth a visit - about a 3/4 mile walk.
