We have stayed at Melrose several times as we like being able to park up and walk or take local transport. This time we brought our electric bikes. Thanks to a map we got from the bike shop near the Abbey ( was it Abbey Street?). We cycled around this area over our few days here. We needed the electric support but the views made it worth it. A great coffee or lunch stop was the Milestone Garden Centre at St Boswells. As always we enjoyed the interesting wee shops and nice eateries in Melrose. A lovely relaxing visit. A well kept site, helpful and friendly wardens. The toilets were spotless but we had to queue for showers a couple of times. A great visit, we will be back
