A Scottish Borders Gem.
This is indeed a gem at the foot of "Trimontium" the roman name for what is now "The Eildon Hills" in Melrose, a quiet peace full site with easy access to shops, good real ale,buses, and now also the borders railway{the old Waverley line}.we visit this site twice a year at Easter and in September, the wardens are always helpful and all facilities are spic and span.
