Excellent site with views of the nearby Malvern Hills

Despite being a large site we felt we had plenty of space. Our visit was during school term time so there were few children around and it was a lovely peaceful visit. There are only two toilet blocks and some of the pitches a quite a distance from the nearest one. However, they were not too busy as many people, especially during Covid, are using their own on-board facilities. The site is fairly flat and there are good views of the Malvern Hills. All site staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. Local roads are mostly quiet and we enjoyed cycling and walking in the area. It's the sort of countryside where just about every field has a footpath or two running through it. The Swan in Swan Hanley has been mentioned by others (online booking essential) but the Plough and Furrow, slightly further away, is also worth a visit being newly refurbished and with an excellent beer garden. It's also easier to get a table here. We came here primarily to visit the hills, which we walked the length of over two separate days, but there are other lovely places to visit, including Croome National Trust, Worcester, Tewkesbury and Upton. All the last three are on the river Severn, with walks along the river.
