Superb Site.

Big site but can feel small. Wardens all helpful & friendly bar 1 couple which were a bit over zealous with what they say was club rules about vehicle washing on site. Read in the site comments book that wardens was over zealous about minor infringements, no need for this at all. The speed that members drive around the site exceeded the 5mph rule therefore this should have been jumped on by the wardens not because you had just two wheels on the grass at the had standing bays. Because it is such a large site members seem to think that they have to drive quickly in order not to waste a few seconds on their journey. We are not just talking about solo cars, towing units and bicycles, All well exceed the 5mph limit. A very quite site when we stayed in July and weather wash good. TV can be iffy, no booster points at bollards. Member from Scotland.

Short Break

Bought my elderly Mum for a short break. Found a lovely corner plot with a view of the Malvern Hills and chillaxed for a few days. Site was very busy as Motor Home Show was taking placing at showground nearby but this did not detract from our holiday. There is a lovely dog walk area onsite and plenty of dog bins for clearing up after them. Would certainly recommend this site especially for those of us caravanners who are in the 'mature' age bracket!

Lovely week

Arrived with our 2 children after a good journey from West Sussex. Wardens all helpful & friendly. Site filled up quickly as Motorhome show was on at the 3 Counties showground but everyone was friendly & no loud partying in the late evening! This put the facilities under a bit of pressure but the wardens managed to keep them clean. Dog walk was under cover of the trees & although small was laid out to make it interesting for the dogs. Lots of well maintained footpaths around the site. My usual moan about owners who do not clear up after their dogs even 'tho there is a bin right under their noses! Even found a very large deposit on the main site one evening! Thank goodness no one walked it into their caravan! Anyway, lots to see & do in the area & the weather was superb (I know you can't book that!), Morgan factory tour is worth the cost as took my 11 year old son & he loved it, even after 2 hours! A walk to the Worcestershire Beacon is worth it for the wonderful views. Lots of good pubs in the area, but the Swan at Hanley Swan is a bit of a pricey gastro pub! All came home wanting to visit again next year!

Short break with grandchildren

Just the right site for grandchildren. We were pitched near the play area on the lower level. The play area was a magnet, and our grand children made new friends. Malvern is a very large site with super clean facilities. TV can be iffy and there are no booster plugs in the bollards. Even though it was full, you still had the feeling of being in a much smaller site. It has everything to recommend it except, and this is a big except... the speed that members drive around the site. Because it is such a large site members seem to think that they have to drive quickly in order not to waste a few seconds on their journey. We are talking solo cars, towing units and bicycles. All well exceed the 5mph limit. Given that the play area is adjacent to the drop down from the higher level pitches, this is a particularly dangerous area. Members please adhere to the speed limit and you might just save a life. Our local CC site names and shames those exceeding the site speed limit. I guess Malvern is just too big to do that so members must take this responsibility on themselves, then it would be a truly superb site.

Fabulous!

Stayed here for two nights on our way home from looe. Loved this site, very large site with plenty of room on your pitch, as always toilet block lovely and clean, wardens extremely helpful with plenty of info, friendly and always smiling, not like some I've stayed at. Can't wait to return. Well done and thank you.

Highly Reccommended

When we have a dog show we always stay at Malvern Hills as the location is perfect for us. The wardens are always friendly and the site and its facilities are spotless. No rush to get to the showers in fear of no hot water left and there is adequate facilities too! See you next year!

Another visit to this site

This was not our first visit to this site neither will it be our last. Despite being quite busy the site was quiet and there seemed to be adequate space for everyone. We visited 2 National Trust properties whilst on site both within easy driving distance and easy parking for our 8 metre motorhome. The 2 properties are Croombe Park and Brockhampton Estate, both well worth a visit even more so if you have a dog that is more than welcome at both properties. The fish and chip van visits the Caravan and Camping Club site next door on a Friday night at 5 pm whilst they are not the best nor the cheapest we have experienced they serve to fill a hole after a day out. In summary a site up to the usual high CC standards thanks to the hard working wardens.

Highly Recommended

First visit and certainly will not be our last, stayed for a couple of days and was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. Our arrival was greeted by a couple of CC wardens who where more than helpful and friendly, a standard we have come to expect from the CC sites. We where first told to pick a site to park, there where plenty to choose from, this has to be one of the clubs biggest club sites we have visited. We where also surprised by how quiet it was even though there where a lot of caravans and motor homes on site. There are 2 facility blocks, both within in easy walking distance where ever you are parked, both where of excellent standard with roomy showers and more than sufficient toilets and washing facilities. You have a dog walk leading off the bottom field and a children's play area with swings etc. in the middle of the site. You are spoiled for choice when parking up. If you leave the site, turn left, travel for about 1 mile you will fine the Swan inn, great food, good selection of beers (food a little pricy but good quality - you get what you pay for). Turn left at the Swan and travel 3 miles to Upton on Seven. Here you will find a quaint old village, number of shops, banks and a great selection of pubs and restaurants. If you have bikes I recommend you take them with you, there is a off road bike track to Upton and apart from one hill there remainder is flat all the way. Highly recommended. This is truly one site that will stay top of our revisit list.

suprising

We found the site very open and not overcrowding. I agree with one other review about people walking through pitches. Wardens very friendly and facilities kept to caravan club standard. The only one thing that would have made our stay better would be TV boosters installed for those odd rainy nights. Plenty of walks from the site and an easy walk to the village which hosts a lovely pub , butcher and village store.

Excellent

Probably the best site we have ever been on. Site immaculate and toilet block pristine. Wardens and assistant wardens friendly and very helpful. Close to bus stop. We will definitely return.
