My partner and I have just returned from a 10 day break at this lovely well kept site. Our purpose was a base so that we could see the treasures that Sussex and neighbouring counties have to offer. We couldn't have made a better choice. An hours drive either way you are in Portsmouth, Chichester, Brighton, Lewes, all of these have alot to offer the tourist. Not to mention nearby Arundel and its Castle. The Six Bells public house easy walking distance from the site offer superb menus and ale. Well worth the 300 miles journey.
Very helpful warden
Many thanks to the warden, who spent some time helping us locate the fuse box after we had tripped the mains (the first time this had happened to us in 15 years and it was nowhere near the location in the users' manual!)
Lovely clean facilities, ideal location for visiting Littlehampton beach.
Good pub (The Locomotive) only 200 yards or so from the site, excellent food.
Morrisons superstore (with petrol station) about 5/10 minutes walk.
Highly recommended.

Excellent Family Site
We had five great days at Littlehampton. The facilities were first class and the wardens really helpful. There was a report of road noise due to road works but to be honest it was not a problem. Would visit again without a doubt. Thanks
Fabulous site, Excellent wardens
Spent 5 nights here in our Hymer on our honeymoon and couldn't be more pleased. The site is well kept, clean, neat and tidy. The wardens are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The ablutions are kept warm, clean, well stocked with plenty of good hot water pressure. There is a road runs past the site which we backed onto but did not find the road noise intrusive. (Why folk complain about road noise is beyond me, the site has no control over where the roads are and how busy they may or may not be). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back. Easy walk to the bus stop (I am walking disabled) for a ride into Littlehampton town or Arundel. The castle, church, cathedral, museum and Arundel town itself is well worth a visit (you'll need at least two days to see it all). Littlehampton town centre is nothing to write home about (only our personal opinion) but the seafront is well worth a look and the fish and chip shops well worth a try. Plenty of hard standings for us motorhomers which is always a bonus. Thanks and enjoy your stay at this site.
Short visit
We visited from the day after Easter Monday for 3 nights, and found the site pleasantly quiet except for the traffic noise. The site is well maintained with lovely facilities and friendly staff. If going I would recommend a pitch on the site furthest from the road as the noise went on night and day. Getting out of the site was also a pain with the railway and temporary traffic lights. We had a great time non the less and will return maybe next year.
A well run very pleasant campsite
Going during the Easter school holidays we were surprised just how quiet the site was. All of the children seemed to be happy to play in the children's area. A neighbour said they had hardly seen their grandchildren as they were happily playing. The wardens were very good and kept the site immaculate. There is some road noise but not too intrusive. However, expect delays if leaving or returning to the site when going North towards Arundel. I recommend this site.
nice clean site
Only had one night here but wardens lovely and site spotless. Would visit again if in the area
Peaceful Site
Just back from this site, had a very nice time here as it is always very quiet and laid back. We didn't notice any real traffic noise and the site was spotless and the wardens very happy and helpful.
3rd Visit
Nice clean well kept site in a convenient location. Shop & pubs nearby with supermarkets & other local shops easily reachable. Lots to see within 30mins to an hours drive including Petworth & Up Park NT properties. We'd recommend using the Great Days Out vouchers to visit the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard to take advantage of the 2 for 1 annual pass. Also 20% of the Spinnaker Tower.
Early Spring
Helpful and friendly site staff
. Good size pitches. Clean and warm facilities. Its open all year, so pretty handy if you want to get away out of season. Close to the South Downs and Arundel, so good location for sight seeing etc. I enjoy cycling so a fantastic location for this activity. Easy access to Littlehampton, but its a drive rather than a walk, probably about a mile and a half away from the centre of town. supermarket is close by. second stay, so clearly i'm pretty happy with it.
