Fantastic site!

We're new CC members and this is only the second site we've visited. When we called to book staff were extremely helpful. We arrived just before midday, check in was easy and the site / facilities explained again all the staff were friendly and gave the impression nothing would be a problem. We choose our pitch and soon had the kettle on. The showers, toilets and wash basins were spotlessly clean and extremely well appointed. The site was quiet despite being quite busy. We didn't use the dishwashing or laundry facilities. Thanks for a lovely stay. Ideally located for a day trip to Arunder Castle.

Great site

Stayed here for 5 nights over Easter. Site was excellent. Very clean and tidy. Wardens very friendly and helpful. Lots to do nearby. Would recommend a trip to Arundel and to Tangmere Aviation Centre. We have two kids and they enjoyed the play parkĀ

Easter break

The site was immaculate with all hedges and shrubbs trimmed.Ā  The new wardens are lovely really helpful and ftiendly.Ā  Great site for exploring the coast and South Downs. There is a nice pub down the road serving food too and morrisons 5 minutes away.Ā  You need to be aware that you may hear road noise if staying at the bottom of the site. This did not put us off we will be back.Ā

Convenient to get to from East Hampshire

This is a very well maintained site. It is ideal for us as it is not far to travel if we just want a few days away not far from home. The site is a short distance from Littehampton, Arundel and the Southdowns. There is a bus stop a short walk from the site which is useful if you don't want to take your campervan or motorhome (700 Coastliner). It is an easy walk taking 30 mins into Littlehampton which we have done several times. Being of a certain age with a bus pass we found it preferable to catch the bus as the walk into Littlehampton is not interesting or picturesque being next to a main road with only houses to look at. There is some noise from the trains but soon got used to it and didn't notice it in the end. The wardens were very friendly and welcoming

Great Site & Wardens

This is our third time at this lovely site, yes we agree with other comments regarding traffic noise but in our opinion a little price to pay for the sites super location. A large Morrisons supermarket is a short walk away with super cafe, plus bus stops & excellent service into Littlehampton & beyond. The site itself & toilet block are kept immaculate by the wardens. We were booked in for 5 nights but unfortunatly after the third night my Wife collapsed suffering a siezure fortunatly while still in our motorhome, so we decided it best to make our way home, the Warden on duty was so helpful a I would like to take this oppertunity to thank him for being so helpful & understanding. We will return.

Great wardens but a bit noisy

Stayed on this site with friends for New Year. First thing I have to say is the wardens here are amazing. Super friendly and helpful. They accommodated our request to point us towards a pitch where our friends could pitch "next door." They also let my son and I sneak in for a quick shower after we were 2 mins late for toilet block closure, the best wardens on any site I've been to. The site is up to the usual club standard with a super clean toilet block and a good kids play park but I would warn you that there is a disappointing amount of road and train noise audible most of the time. The walk to the beach can be done in about 30mins but it's a horrible walk along grotty and busy roads but once you are there, Littlehampton beach was a great as always. All in all a good site with the best wardens but not picturesque by any means.

Winter break

What a lovely site, immaculately kept, friendly and helpful staff and well placed for some fantastic beaches and towns. We stayed for a week from Boxing Day, couldn't have wished for a better place to stay.
