Great little site

Had a lovely time staying at the littlehampton site. The usual high standard of cleanliness you would expect from the CC sites. For a smallish site plenty of toilets and showers. There is a Morrisons within a short walking distance and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The only slight down side was the road was a little loud at times.

Great short break site

Super site. Kids would have played in the park all weekend - had to drag them to the beach - which was 2 mins in the car. Everything was spotless, and very presentable. Staff were very friendly! And helpful! Thank you for a great break.

Nice site, friendly staff

This was a nice well kept site with friendly helpful staff who kept the site and facilities spotlessly clean.  Quite a lot of children cycling and scootering around the sites roads but they were no problem. The problem with the site is centred around its location.  The site was situated off a A road at the top of Littlehampton.  Littlehampton itself was not up to much, generally scruffy.  The site suffered from some road noise, but we were sited away from the road and were not really troubled by the road noise.  The local pubs were not up to much.  But the good news is that Arundel is a nice 50 minute walk away, mainly on footpaths across fields.  Arundel with its castle, cathedral umpteen, walks around the area, nice eating places, pubs and small shops was a real treat. Sorry to be critical of the site for matters outside its control, its a pleasant oasis within Littlehampton.

Amazing staff and spotlessly clean

Stayed over the bank holiday, staff are so friendly and helpful, always smiling and chatting. The site is so clean and the toilet and shower block is immaculate. Water and waste points are located everywhere so never far from one. Would I recommend it, the answer that is simple : Yes, we will be returning again and looking forward to it already.

Top experience from start to finish

We spent 4 nights at the site from May 28 to Jun 1, my wife and I and our 3 young children. The site is very well maintained indeed, we really couldn't find any 'faults'. The wardens were THE most friendly we have experienced. Not only did they go out of their way to help us with the various queries we had, they also ran a childrens quiz on the Sunday lunchtime, which was a real hit. The treasure trail around the site was also appreciated and the children loved their rewards. Easy access from the A24 and we had a nice meal at the 6 Bells. The town itself is very welcoming for everyone. We would certainly be back and once again, a big shout out to the wardens - they really went beyond ...

Wonderful Site

We have been fairly regular visitors to the site at Littlehampton (during Bank Holiday weekends). The site is always clean and tidy and facilities block cannot be faulted. The staff this year are all very helpful and friendly (hasn't always been the case, but different staff now). On a previous visit I thought I had lost my set of keys to the caravan, and rang the site to ask if keys had been handed in. The staff went out of their way to help. (I eventually found them under the front seat of my car!) Oh, and I would definitely recommend the Pizzas from Oggies.

A Weekend Break

As we live 45 mins away we have stayed here for a second time for a weekend break and will definitely come back again. Both times we were made to feel really welcome and all the staff were more than obliging. If you want an evening meal out i can happily point you to the 6 Bells Pub where the food is superb and is only a 5 mins walk from the site entrance, it would be best to book a table as it is very popular!!. Littlehampton Town is a 20 mins walk and the beach is another 5 mins which is a very clean and great for kids. The site and the toilet/shower facilities are very very clean. The pitches are tidy and of adequate size for Caravan + awning. We will be returning later this year :)

Just a lovely time!

From arrival we were made to feel welcome and all staff made efforts to be friendly with all, including our little boy, Alfie, who appreciated the friendly greetings every time he saw them. The site is well kept and small/large enough to be ideal for those with children, and the two pubs nearby probably are good for those without children. Very convenient for Littlehampton and it is still a seaside where you can park up without spending the kids inheritance on parking fees as well as being 'big' enough for younger children. Only thing we would like to know in advance, if possible, is what food is available on site as we missed out on what looked like gorgeous wood oven cooked pizzas one evening, but the help yourself herb garden was a big hit with us, fresh herbs on many foods was lovely, and Morissons is close enough to get fresh foods to go with the herbs as well as cooked breakfast on going home day.

It is a friendly well kept site. You could , however, change the times of the toilet/shower block . It is currently 10.30-12.00, which really is the peak times of people requiring showers in the morning, they are on holiday. Hardly anybody uses them in the afternoon, as they are usually out and about.
