A very popular site nicely laid out although a bit crowded in one area and peacefully in others. We were lucky to have a large,flat open pitch with a good TV signal although the WiFi was a bit slow at times. Facilities were fine although a bit dated and could do with refurbishment. I'm told the water pressure can be low but it was fine on our visit. Nice walk to the Chirk Aqueduct were you can cross from Wales to England in a couple of minutes. Also worth a visit are Pontycysyllte aqueduct and the Llangollen steam railway. Lovely wardens.
