This is one of our favourite sites as it has fabulous walks straight off the site. You are also within easy walking distance of the good local amenities we especially like the butchers in the village. The only down side is the size of the hard standing pitches on the lower section in the main area. As you will be aware we are informed to set up on a awing pitch as (looking head on) awning on the right hand side caravan to the white peg then car to the left hand side. The only problem is that due to the size of pitch the white peg is in the left hand corner and there is no room for the car. The pitches on the rest seem to be approx. 11 metres whilst the lower ones are only 9 metres, yet the price is the same. surely these pitches should be blue pegged and costed accordingly?. We still love this site but feel short changed on this point.
