A very enjoyable stay at this well located site.  Yes the facilities are dated and yes there is some background noise from the nearby factory but neither of these really impacted on our stay.  Lots to do in the area, we especially enjoyed cycling along the towpath to Llangollen and beyond. Couldn't really understand why grass pitches were not in use particularly as April has been very dry and given that site was full for much of our stay the CC must have lost some income, which could have been spent on repairing the access road. Come on CC there really is no excuse for such a potholed access.
