We visit here every year at least once as it’s less than an hour from home. The site is beautiful and grass and shrubs etc are well maintained. Chirk is a short walk with some nice shops, cafes and a fabulous curry house. Chirk Castle is a lovely walk away and a good place to visit. Walks from the sites are in every direction. As always with C&MC sites the pitches are generous and well kept. But it really is time for a shower block upgrade, yes they are clean but very old now. The club regularly state that they are updating shower blocks regularly but none of the sites we’ve visited this year have yet had the upgrade. Price freezes need to continue we feel on all sites that haven’t yet got the upgrade.
