Lovely Site, but a few things need updating.

We stayed here for a few nights in early January. This was our 1st time at LM's and we really enjoyed our time. The wardens were friendly and booking in was easy. Chirk was a short walk along a path the runs alongside the site, in Chirk there's a decent sized Spar (7am-11pm) & a Coop . There are 2 pubs & 2 Cafes, one of the Cafes is on the walk to Chirk (but isn't dog friendly). Theres an Indian restaurant in Chirk which has got good reviews but we didn't visit. There is a chippy about a mile. The site is very close to the site is the Shropshire Union Canal which is a delight to walk along. Its a flat one hours walk along the Canal to the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct which is a World Heritage Site and a must see. On the other side of the Aqueduct is popular Cafe. In my title I said a few things need up dating, they are the facilities block which is warm and very clean is in desperate need of an update. The showers were hot but weren't that powerful, a man I spoke to said he's been visiting LM's for 25 years & the facility block hasn't changed a jot. Come on C&MC management get the block refurbished. Another issue is the TV reception which on our pitch was 99% perfect, but others on the site said they could only get BBC or ITV or neither. One man said that he couldn't get a signal through is roof top aerial or his sat dish. This is unacceptable and the Club should get TV hook up on the EHU bollards. Niggles aside we loved our time at Lady Margarets and will definitely return. One last thing there's little to do onsite for kids other than a small area for ball games, this didn't bother us at all.

I personally do not consider the fact that some seem able to get TV but some not all the channels they might wish as an indication of general TV signal availability.
