We found the site with ease following the directions in the SD and had a warm welcome from the wardens. First impressions of the site were a bit disappointing, just rows of caravans and no views to speak of, but it could have been because we had just come from a fab CL with only 4 vans onsite & great views. We couldn't hear the factory from where we are pitched but it was noticeable from the other side of the site. There is a footpath from the site to the canal & Chirk, which has a good butchers, bakers and traditional green grocers together with a small supermarket. The showers on site although clean had no  pressure and so the water was little more than a dribble. From reading the other reviews the block is due to be updated so hopefully this will be sorted. We really liked the area, but don't think we would we use this site again, would probably find a CL in the area.
