The site is well placed to visit Chirk Castle and outlying areas of splendid beauty. The site is well laid out but offers only one central toilet block which is tired and needs updating. There are however plenty of service points around the site. The site has a feel of Adult only and has little facilities for children which tend to ride round the site on bikes and scooters. There used to be a central wooden castle which has been taken away for whatever reason. This is the second time I have visited this site but feel that unless its toilet block facilities are updated I will not be re visiting again.
