Never been before, and this was supposed to be an overnighter on the way home from north west Wales, so it was a complete surprise to find this perfectly positioned little gem. The staff were warm and welcoming and we had only been on site a couple of hours when we asked if we could extend. We're motorhomers so look for sites where attractions can be reached on foot. Well there is a pleasant little village, a fascinating canal with aquaduct and tunnel, a castle and then the site is set in woodland. All I could hear at night was an owl hooting. Absolutely charming place, facilities are due, and need, an update but that aside it is perfect (for us anyway).
