Stayed here for a weekend in mid-March, site was virtually full. Nice location but unlike most other campsites where you wake to the smell of rashers of bacon being prepared, here you poke your nose out into the fresh morning air......to be greeted by the adorable aroma of chocolate!! A well known chocolate drink manufacturer has a factory a few hundred yards away and luckily, for us, the wind was in our favour! Liked the site, everywhere clean and tidy and as others have stated, perhaps the facilities could do with modernisation, but they are clean and functional. A little noise from the factory didn't bother us at all. We ate out at the local Indian, had breakfast in the Tea Rooms and dinner at the Corn Mill in Llangollen. The latter two were superb.
