Handy base for explorers
Although not looking its best at this time of year, I imagine it will be picturesque during summer months. If you're a walker or National Trust member, there is plenty to explore. Chirk Castle is on the doorstep and you can wander the canal path with its aqueducts and tunnels. Llangollen is close by, as is Wrexham. Public transport, train or bus, is only a short walk away. No need for a car. On the food front, the Chirk Tandoori is recommended. We'll be back!
