Good base for exploring the area
Lovely location, with a mix of pitches ( some grass and some hard standing ) to suit most families, some in shady tree-lined areas, whilst others are in the open. Facilities are a little dated but very clean. Wardens are always helpful and have suggestions of places to visit.
Ideal centre for exploring Chester, wrexham, Llangollen and the surrounding countryside. Plenty of walking opportunities in the vicinity, with or without dogs.
