We have stayed many times on this site as it is close to our twin granddaughters in Ruabon. Can't think of one negative point, but can only speak as adults with no children on site so basing my 'good for families' on opinions of the site as a whole. It is also well situated to visit many places of interest locally and further afield, eg. Chester area (zoo well worth a visit). We also went to Alton Towers from there. Yes, the toilet block may be a bit dated, but then so are many on other sites around the UK. They are always spotlessly clean, except the last day on our last visit, but that was guests who had obviously used the showers, not mopped up after themselves and judging by the water all over the floor had either walked out dripping wet or had a water fight! However, that is not the fault of the team running the site. They are always pleasant and very welcoming. We will be booking in the next few days to go back in December for our Christmas visit to the twins.
