Had three nights at this lovely site last week and we find it difficult to find any fault. The mentioned noise from the factory is out of the control of the CC and we soon got used to it. From booking in to leaving ,the staff on site were wonderfully friendly and efficient. The facilities are fabulously clean and warm, but I do think such a gem of a site deserves an overhaul to bring it up to the standard the site deserves. Looking a bit tired but immaculately clean. No fault of the wardens. We are motorhomes and found the local transport very good and used the train to visit Shrewsbury. Always good when van can stay put. Chirk Castle is well worth a visit and a very pleasant walk from the site, beautiful grounds. The town has everything you might need for a short triip, we always like to support the local economy when on our travels. The local people are extremely welcoming and friendly.
