Another 'will defo come again' site!!

We cannot fault this site at all. It was our 1st visit after recommendation from a fellow caravanner over 12 mths ago. We were very lucky to be pitched in the open area near to the reception and having walked around the site several times have decided our choice was a good one. The site for those that may have visited others is a mix between Park Coppice, Coniston in the Lake District and Wharfdale nr Grassington, Yorkshire. There are a couple of tree lined inlets, shaded, quite dark infact at this time of year, there are also open pitches both grass and hardstanding of very ample sizing.  I agree with some reviews that the facilities needing updating but read a horrendous comment slating of the wardens in the visitor book on site which i found to be rude and incorrect in it's statement. The loo's / showers were very clean, dated but extremely clean and if they do get dirty, I lay the blame at the feet of the patrons that use them and the wardens cannot control the personal hygiene issues of those people. For the dog walkers and ramblers, loads of off site walks. There are also lots of places of historical interest locally and of course the many canal walks and aquaducts. We will be back, it was nice to be amongst friendly faces, always a good morning from other people and the wardens were informative, polite and friendly. Word of warning, if you own a dog with the 'chase' instinct, 'on lead' is definately best owing to the vast amount of rabbits and squirrels about which were of course lovely to watch.
