This was our 7th visit to Lady Margarets @ Chirk. We love the site for its peace & quiet and lovely layout. There were 2 things that didn't spoil the holiday but left a sour taste for want of a better word. 1 - the wardens were the unfriendliest that have ever been there , they only spoke on booking in & booking out. No " good mornings " when they walked around the site as all wardens on all the CC sites do. 2- the pompous old git who pitched next to us in his foreign van. he had his awning opposite ours so it was on the wrong side of the pitch , we were sat out on our sunloungers relaxing & he told me to " go around the other side of my caravan to smoke as he didn't smoke and the wind was blowing it towards his awning ". I replied telling him if his awning was on the corret side it would not be an issue & the fact that I was outside I would smoke on my own pitch if I wanted to. Apart from that we had another wonderful stay & will be going back for many years to come.
