Good Site But Be Careful When it Rains
We had an enjoyable few days here in October. After a pleasant welcome we found a pitch on grass as all the hard standing pitches were taken. There are ample opportunities for walking directly from the site including Incleborough Hill from the top of which are excellent views. You can also walk to Cromer starting on a public footpath beside the middle toilet block!
The Cley Marsh Nature Reserve is well worth visiting but to do so you have to drive off your pitch. This is where we had difficulties as the ground was wet and very slippery. I had to use traction mats to get us off the pitch on the last morning. More hard standing pitches are needed. It wouldn't have to be gravel, some sort of grating or mesh through which the grass could still grow might be best.
