Lovely but ...

A large site but divided into different areas so it feels smaller. However this makes it more stressful finding a pitch when the site is busy, especially as some pitches looked relatively poor and harder to pitch on. This is presumably why some members ignore the signs asking them not to arrive before 1 pm because of the narrow access road. Discourteous and dangerous so perhaps the wardens should make them wait until after the official entrance time? Would agree with the speeding problem, especially at the top of the site where some drivers appeared to assume no one would walk. Lots of walks straight from the site. Wardens stunning as usual, all the extras were appreciated and the site was immaculate. Would definitely come again but not if we thought the site would be busy because I would worry about some pitches

Granddaughters first caravan holiday by the seaside

First time we've been to this site Super Wardens, very friendly and helpful. Site is well maintained and the toilets were spotless.   Managed to hitch up on a relatively flat pitch. You do need levelling blocks for many of the pitches Sadly it was very muddy. But nothing anything anyone can do about the British weather.  Some people were inconsiderate about the noise.  It's a good walk back to the site office/shop from lots of the pitches due to the size of the site, and its location around a golf course.   The only real grip was the speed of some of the campers.  There are plenty of signs stating the 5mph speed limit. But ignored by many of the users  Over a decent site, and we would visit again

Superb campsite

My first visit to this site and rather nervous of huge number of pitches.  however, it is perfect for dogs, all pitches beautifully landscaped to give privacy, excellent facilities, very friendly and helpful staff...and amazing walks immediately from the site...no cars needed.  The surrounding area has masses to offer visitors and an excellent Village Inn pub within walking distance. I highly recommend this site and will return in my VW Caddy Camper - the smallest campervan there. Make sure you take binoculars as amazing bird life to spot. Go to Norfolk Wildlife Trust site en route to Blakeney.

One of the best sites on the network

We love this site and have been here hundreds of times.  Great for walking and dogs.  Lots of public footpaths as well as sandy beaches.  Bus stops and train station all within walking distance. Large site but well separated into different areas.  Definitely need levelling blocks. Wardens very helpful in this.  Sea views from some pitches.  Only critism which applies to many sites, the trees are getting too tall.  I love a sunny pitch in common with many people and tall trees are reducing the number available.  Lovely site though.

Our favorite site

We love this site .As everyone else has said ,wardens are great and the terraces make you feel as if you are really private but in a little community .My only criticism which is a small one are the toilets on the first block which only have 3 cubicles which serve around 100 pitches but I suppose you have 3 other blocks to choose from. The site is massive and is always spotless which must take some doing but we will be coming here for years to come.

Wonderful site, wonderful wardens

We've just returned from 9 nights at this wonderful site. Beautiful setting and plenty of room. It has few all weather pitches and many of the pitches are very uneven, even so, it's one of the very best CC sites - we love it. The facilities are excellent and spotlessly clean at all times. Add to this the very warm welcome you receive and wardens who go out of their way to help or to make sure you are totally happy with your pitch. These wardens are top notch customer service representatives, who are ideal for the holiday sector. They should be used to train new wardens.

A Great Site

We had a wonderful break here. The site is in a lovely location with some sea view pitches and others in woodland or open areas. Lots of space between pitches. On site facilities were first class and the staff were very nice. Mainline station just outside the entrance. Good dog walking woods round the site. Good food in the village all within walking distance. Site goes round a golf club. Quite a bit of elevation on the site some pitches needing levelling equipment. Very good site all round.

A Great Site for Norfolk Coast

Site was surprisingly full for first week after the school holidays but it's layout means it doesn't feel closed in or crowded. Warm welcome, spotlessly kept club site.

A soggie Bank Holiday

This being one of our favourite sites since the 80s we first took our own children and have now been taking our gran children. There is so much do even if its not to wet.The site is split into because of the golf course the right hand side is where most of the family's go and is very lively. A very nice play area for them to play on if your looking for piece and quite then the terraces are for you. Now believe all the toilet blocks had a re verb and they are looking good. We spent 6 nights and had lovely weather until the sunday lunch time when it slowly when it went slowly down hill Bank Holiday Monday being the worse but did not spoil our break this a very good site for most caravaners.
