July 2016

Positives - -Wardens VERY pleasant and helpful , beautiful weather and area . Facilities great . Negatives - -Glad I didn't arrive when only the least accessible pitches were left or I would have asked for my money back. Some pitches sloping ? Give me a break , how this ever became a caravan site is beyond me. Should have been warned about the "Flying golf balls" before our arrival - -not everyone wants to risk injury on holiday. Now to the dogs , I've raised this before , they bark , they foul , they wander off the lead , and lets be honest here they're animals that bite people , the club rules are NOT adhered to regarding them and once again it spoiled my holiday. It's no longer a question of bringing the family "pet" , just how many dogs do these people need ? And how many are they allowed to bring ? The club needs to bring in a limit - -some people have four or even five dogs with them , but that no longer bothers me , I'm looking for sites that don't allow dogs , and this means either a CL or non club sites . Even so had a lovely holiday and even stayed for four extra nights - mainly for the weather though.

Great Site

First time to this site and very pleased we visited. Stayed for four nights but would have stayed longer if possible. Very nice location between Sherringham and Cromer. Spacious site but be wary of where you pitch as ground levels vary significantly in places, levelling blocks a necessity. Good for dogs and great walks both country and coast. Facilities very clean and plenty of them, staff friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again.

Super site

We have stayed on this site several times and the site did not disappoint. It was quiet, clean with with cheerful wardens. The only downside was our imeadiate neighbors who had two dogs neither on a lead unless going for a walk. Our neighbor on the other side of us did not like the large boxer and the owner knew this but did absolutely nothing about it, this was reported on our departure to the warden in charge. The caravan club clearly states the rules with regard to dogs and leads, in this case it was not acceptable behaviour. This did spoil things for us and them them also our guests that visited us. A pity, but not fault of the site. Pol

A Great Site for the coast

Another fabulous week based at this friendly, well kept and attractive site. The contrast between the terraces and field areas add to its character. Straddling the first week of the school holidays the atmosphere changed during our stay as more young families arrived.  Our only quibble would be with the number of dogs owners who expect you to like their treasured pet as much as them. They do not always control them, even letting them off the lead around the site.

Another good stay at Incleborough, helped in no small part by the exellent attitude of all the wardens.

Noisy site

We only read the reviews of this site the night before we arrived. The name Cromer kennels has stuck with us. While not as bad as some of the reviews said, there were lots of dogs and somewhere at least one or two were barking, parts of the site smelt of dog mess as you walked past. The rules concerning dogs don't seem to apply here, dogs running free, dogs on long leads and even dogs trying to get to our BBQ while the owners ignored them. The site is very spread out and if you are at the far end of the site it is 1 1/4 miles round trip to reception (the wardens measurements) and some of it very uphill. The facilities are the usual Caravan Club style although the toilet cubicles in our toilet block were very narrow. I am sorry to leave such a damning review of a Club site. The question I ask myself is "would I go back" and the answer would be "not even if you paid me"

Favourite Site in the Network

Very warm welcome. Efficient service on booking in. Very clean facilities and good range of helpful goods for sale. Good spacing of pitches and help available if you cannot pitch on a slope well. Very near to excellent beach. Fish and chips and icecream van call regulally. Super holiday place.

Brilliant site

First visit to this site and stayed for eight nights - we pitched on Abs Terrace but didn't have a view of the sea. If you are lucky to get a pitch in the far corner of the terrace there is an amazing view down to the sea. Nevertheless its a great part of the site because you are near the service point/toilets (which were immaculate) and the wifi was good. Television signal wasn't great. Very close to the terrace is a dog walk that takes you directly onto Incleboro hill and the views on a late July night are amazing. Nice beach at West Runton where once you are away from the entrance you can let the dogs off the lead. Sheringham is nice and the steam train to Holt is a nice afternoon. We spent most days visiting the many seaside villages between West Runton and Wells next the Sea and it is like going back in time - fantastic scenery and many place to drink and eat.

Definitely our best stay on a site.
