Favourite Site in the Network

Very warm welcome. Efficient service on booking in. Very clean facilities and good range of helpful goods for sale. Good spacing of pitches and help available if you cannot pitch on a slope well. Very near to excellent beach. Fish and chips and icecream van call regulally. Super holiday place.

Brilliant site

First visit to this site and stayed for eight nights - we pitched on Abs Terrace but didn't have a view of the sea. If you are lucky to get a pitch in the far corner of the terrace there is an amazing view down to the sea. Nevertheless its a great part of the site because you are near the service point/toilets (which were immaculate) and the wifi was good. Television signal wasn't great. Very close to the terrace is a dog walk that takes you directly onto Incleboro hill and the views on a late July night are amazing. Nice beach at West Runton where once you are away from the entrance you can let the dogs off the lead. Sheringham is nice and the steam train to Holt is a nice afternoon. We spent most days visiting the many seaside villages between West Runton and Wells next the Sea and it is like going back in time - fantastic scenery and many place to drink and eat.

Definitely our best stay on a site.

They made a bad time good.

Even though an on site accident ruined out Van the site management dealt with it Very well. The site was one of the best we have been to, Could not fault any part . It was very clean ,all staff were helpfull . Plenty of nice walks in the woods . We liked the way there are several areas of different outlooks so you could have parked in a small or large area.At the end of our stay they put our Van in storage for us. Would like to thank Dennis for his help and all the other staff .

Pick the right spot

This is a really well laid out site on a hillside with lots of small areas to choose from and a couple of large fields . If you take some time in selecting the right place for you this site offers something for everyone. We used a small terrace with about 7 other vans and we couldnt see any of the other areas from here we were. It is imaculately kept and the the facilities are great but again choose your site carefully to ensure you are not too far away from these facilities. There are somewonderful walks direct from the site and the coutryside around is lovely to explore. Well situated for Cromer or Sherringham and close to a railway line which makes walks even more accessible. Definitely would recommend ....but take your time on arrival and check out the best place for you.

This is a very noisy site

Pros ...This is a very pretty site , very good staff,  polite and helpfull, well maintained everywhere, Loos, wash ups and service area excellent. large pitches. good views from some pitches, grass cut, no dog mess, well stocked shop. good tv reception , good wi-fi reception. Cons .....All roads to and on site are very narrow, very bendy, very hilly and although mostly two way, are only single lane. Don't think there ia a level pitch on the site, deffinitly need ramps and chocks. Signage poor and site map bears no resembalance to real thing.  Site very noisy, people leaving all morning, arriving all afternoon, and in between staff are cutting grass, noisy fish and chip van in early evening followed by ice cream van ! might be good in off season but not my thing at this time of the year.

Wonderful

This is our second stay on this site with a couple of years gap and would say it's got even better. We had problems travelling up and phoned to say we would arrive a little late, the wardens sorted us out an easy to access pitch and greeted us cordially on our arrival which was not only very practical but welcoming, thank you. The site is immaculate and what is most refreshing is that it is mostly grass and natural pitch settings. Great site and great staff.

excellent sight

My husband took me here to aid my recovery from a shoulder op.  Definitely the right decision.  A beautifully maintained and exceptionally clean site with lovely friendly and helpful wardens.  Plus amazing views.  Did us both the world of good

Very spacious with plenty of walks

This is a very big site, lovely and green, in beautiful setting. Some plots are tucked away privately which was lovely. The 5 showers blocks were well spread out and very clean.  Even when the site was almost full, the showers were not very busy.  The staff are friendly and helpful and there are lots of lovely walks in the area, or just around the site. It took us about an hour to walk to Cromer (at a stroll!).
