A North Norfolk Gem
We stayed at this site for a week in August 2016 and we're delighted we did.
Staff are friendly, efficient and helpful and work really hard to keep the site looking clean and tidy.
The site has lots of terraces, some of which have views of the sea, some of which are nicely tucked away and are quiet. Some of the terraces may be less suitable for larger outfits.
There are a couple of more typical site fields with rows of pitches to suit large outfits or visitors who want to be closer to facilities.
Shower blocks are dotted around the site and are very well appointed with showers, wash cubicles and WC's. The one near us was always nice and clean and tidy, being closed off for an hour in the late afternoon for cleaning.
The site has a small shop for a few supplies like bread, milk, eggs etc as well as a few camping accessories.
An ice cream van visits the site each evening in main season, as does a fish & chip van on Wednesday and Saturday tea time.
The site is half way between Cromer and Sheringham, two lovely seaside towns well worth a visit, and the local beach is a bit of a walk away for those who are up to it.
For the golfer, the 9 hole golf course next door looked worth a visit with some challenging looking holes.
All in all, a lovely site which we are sure to visit again.
