Mid June visit. This was our 4th year coming to this site as we love it so much, however this year I was very disappointed to see members turning up well before the stated 1pm arrival time. I must say if I was a warden I would make them sit there until 1pm as I do not feel that the wardens should feel under pressure to let these members on site early. The wardens have changed since our last visit in 2016 and although very nice and approachable one of the male wardens came across as more like Captain Mannering when we were playing with our ageing Westie on our pitch with an almost skid to a halt in his little buggy shouting "get that dog on a lead" must have just been an off day for him ! As I've already said this is a beautiful site and a must for anyone wanting a peaceful holiday but please please please arrive AFTER 1pm
