A matter of perspective

A clean and well presented site. Although it is not a huge site, it feels very busy because it is adjacent to several holiday parks and some static caravans. It is therefore quite noisy with a good deal of movement of people and vehicles. If you want peace and tranquillity, then this is not the site for you. If you like the bustle of a busy site you will love it. The beach is 10 minutes away and is really rather special. With sand dunes designated as a nature reserve and a flat beach that allows cars (and motorhomes) on in certain sections it is like a mini Daytona Beach! We had lovely weather and so we will remember the site fondly. Enjoy your stay.

A return visit

A lovely site in the perfect spot for the beach at Berrow. A short walk down Hurn Lane will bring you to the main road, cross the road, walk through the dunes and you will be on a wide expanse of sand. Walking time from site to beach 12 minutes. Don't look forward to a dip in the sea unless the tide is in, when it's out it is so far out it's not visible!! Buses to both Burnham and Weston S Mare from the bottom of Hurn Lane normally a half an hour service but can be irregular owing to holiday traffic congestion. Site very, very well maintained by the wardens a credit to them.  Well with a visit to this lovely site.

Very nice site.

Visited this site for a week the end of May, very tidy clean site with neat shrubs surrounding the pitches. staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice to have a shower for the dogs after a walk on the very sandy beach.

Great site.

Stayed here for 3 nights midweek in April ( motorhome ) and enjoyed or stay, this is a very peaceful site. The site pitches were only occupied by about twenty. The site is very well run, very clean and tidy with an open airy feel to the pitches. Most parts of the site had sun nearly all day which is a bonus in April. Transport links are first class and the beaches in the area are superb. Weston Super Mare and Burnham are all easy trips. Enjoyed our stay and will do it again.

Too good for a "Stopover"

We have stayed many times at Hurn Lane, but only for one night on our way down to Devon. We spoke to the site managers and apparently many caravanners do the same. We love this site and have decided to go and stay there for a proper holiday. It has so much to recommend it and it's toilet/shower block are to die for. Hope more "stopover" people will join us and do the same!

Perfect location

Spend 2 nights on this site and of April 2106, staff very helpful and freindly. The staff also gave us good advice on where to take the dogs for walks and a pint us not the dogs of course. Very clean site with plenty of space on the pitches the only downside for me was that the dog walk was a complete and utter joke.

Returned again

We visit this site every year early in the season. We always enjoy visiting this area. We went into Brean on a couple of evenings to have food at the Seagull - they do good food and there is always entertainment on - worth a visit. The site is well looked after as usual - the only minor criticism is that the shower block on the grass field could do with an upgrade now, although it is fully functional and clean. The new wardens were very helpful- no dought we will visit again.

friendly and spotless

Arrived home on Saturday 30th April after 2weeks at hurn lane. The site is lovely and peaceful. It has excellent facilities and the staff are all friendly and helpful. They have an excellent information hut with so many things to do while in the Burnham area, they also have a big file full of local menus, making it easy to plan your stay. This is the ideal place if you want a peaceful holiday.
