Good site

A site suitable for all, adults, families and dog owners. The beach is easily accessed from the site a matter of 5 minutes to the dunes along the narrow access road to the site. Don't be put off by the adjoining static sites they were no trouble or noise. The wardens are excellent with good management skills endeavouring to ensure everyone is happy including those who do not understand the one way and do not enter signs. The only criticism is the size of the dog walk adjacent to the children's play area. It is very small but hey go down the road to the beach and dunes your dog will appreciate it

Good access to lovely beach

Stayed here for a one night stopover. Very easy 10 minute walk via the dunes to a lovely sandy beach. The site is very clean and the facilities are first class.

First Outing

This was my first outing in my Motorhome, so I was very nervous.  The site was very clean and staff were very helpful.  There is a lovely safe sandy beach within a short walk which my dog loved.

great location some points let the site down

this site is located in a great area and was only a short drive from the beach. the park was a let down for my son who on previous occasions on all caravan club sites has loved them but this was aimed at older kids and unsuitable for him. finally we had to clean up numerous amounts of dog poo off the grass before he could play on it from around our pitch and every day as we walked on the roads around the site we had to move poo so our son didn't step in it like he did on our first day there.

A nice base to work from

This was our first time at Burnham on sea; it was also our first time in a motor home after 10 years or so of caravanning so a new experience for us. We have to say both the site and first use of motor home have been very, very good The site was immaculately tidy, this is somewhat expected and part of why we are in the club but the presentation of this site is second to none. We arrived late Saturday, as we had to swop our van and its equipment over to the new motor home on the Saturday mid morning. This meant we had no opportunity of hard standing, the site was busy but not full, the grass pitches were in superb condition. Drainage must be really good here despite all the rain over the last few weeks and rain while pitched there were no tracks from losing traction or skidding and the pitches were always usable. The wardens were as usual first class and very helpful, looking around the overall condition of the site you can see they are very dedicated to their job. Toilets and showers are OK but not the best, no fault of the wardens they are small need benches in the showers, just a bit in need of a refit. Good enough to do what you need to do in them and get out, they are kept clean and tidy, enough said about that. Lots to do around site, 10 minute walk or so to bus stop, this is through a static caravan park, this is the safest way to beach road as it will keep you off the narrow road. Also on the static site is a shop carrying a lot more than the usual bread and milk on the CC site shop. All useful stuff for a motor home user so you can get essentials close by and a trip to visit other places without taking the van. Only down side is the dog walk, frankly it is more a dog spot than a walk no were near big enough to exercise dogs and the walk along the narrow road to beach walk is very unpleasant with a dog. This won’t influence non dog owners but will be important to those that like to take their pets with them. And there are a great many of us that do that.

A good start to the holiday

We have visited this site on several occasions and this was the best. The site is tidy the trees and hedges have been pruned. All the wardens were very helpful and friendly, they helped me to alter my next stay booking  at Godrevy very efficiently. The campsite next door is a little noisy but this one is peaceful. We shall be back again.

first visit

My wife and I selected this site because we wanted to visit our son and,daughter-in-law and grandchildren who had recently moved to the area. We were not disappointed with our choice. The site wardens were extremely friendly and helpful, and kept the site and facilities in excellent condition, this will not be our only visit to this site and we are looking forward to our next stay. My reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 for peace and quiet was beyond the Wardens control i.e. the camp site next door! But as I previously stated it will not stop anyone enjoying this site.

Great little site

Returned after 11 year break for a weekend tester break with new caravan. Still a really nice site, easy access, great area, beach nearby, facilities are well looked after by friendly wardens. Will be returning later in the summer for another long weekend and bringing bikes, great cycling area.

Little gem of a site

After returning to caravaning we knew our first trip would be back to hurn lane club site. Had a lovely relaxing weekend with our dogs on one of the best kept sites, perfectly situated for enjoying the dog friendly beach just a short walk away. The addition of a small dog walk/play area is a bonus. A lovely peaceful, clean and well maintained site that we shall return to many times. Credit to the wardens.
