Good for families

What you see is what you get - Good VFM

Four Oaks is just off Marlow Road - main route to High Wycombe - but, and we come from a VERY rural Dorset village where a tractor and trailer twice a day constitutes high volume, the road noise isn't excessive. You are more likely to hear noises from the river or the alternative (higher priced) Swiss Farm site (both about 400mtres) We use it to visit family resident in the town - which itself is well serviced for food and drink - if lacking in DiY/ hardware and general household maintenance provision (son & daughter in law rely upon us fro practical jobs around their house!) Site can be congested, especially at Regatta or Festival time, but everyone has enough space around their pitch, and we've never had problems as to overcrowding. Highly recommended and a surprising amount to see / do in the villages toward Wycombe, and where you will have 'escaped' from the tourists. Take a torch if coming back late at night on the bus from Henley - there are pavements but no street lights - so the walk from Icehouse Lane (stop by Swiss Farm site) can be tricky (especially in the winter)
