Great family site

I stayed here for a week of school holidays in May with my husband and 2 kids (5 and 3), and also my mam and dad in another outfit. The location is fab, only 1 mile into Henley itself along a busy road but with paths so relatively safe to walk or cycle, which we did for shopping and eating out. We drove to Legoland for a brilliant day out, it was a popular destination for other families too! Facilities on site were spotless, excellent. Only downside to this site is the very busy (and noisy) road running alongside the site, if traffic noise bothers you then this might be a problem but fine for us! We would definitely go back.

A great stay at Henley Four Oaks

A great site, with easy access from the Henley to Marlow road. Mostly cars and bikes use the road so no heavy lorry sounds. A very friendly welcome on arrival, with a brief intro to what was on offer. The site is kept immaculate and very clean. The toilet block is well appointed and easy for disabled access and use, couldn’t ask for more. Great to have the Red Kites overhead and the Parakeets squawking at the feeder. Henley town centre is only a 20 minute stroll and there’s everything you need, shops, supermarkets, pubs and restaurants. The site is centrally placed for exploring the Thames Valley. Don’t miss out on Nuffield Place (National Trust) and Didcot Railway Centre (Great Western Society). A stop here for a few days or longer, is highly recommended. Rich and Macha.

Small but a great base!

We really enjoyed this site. It is only small and obviously if you can stay away from the road its probably best but we were near the road and not any worse than say Broadway or Bearsted for comparison so its fine and it did not disturb us. Henley is a lovely town and is well worth exploring and only a 10 min walk away. We went into London from Maidenhead which is easy to get to but First Western trains are like going back to the 1930's and whilst they are fast (34 mins to Paddington) we had to stand all the time both ways!

A Great Easter with our Friends

Great Site, Great Location - pity about the damage to grass edges from clients. To my mind the grass is  cut too low and mud prevails on the surface.  Have just been to Ashridge Park where grass management is so much better. Please leave grass 1.5 to 2 inches as they do.

visitting the local area and family.

A great site, clean and tidy. 1 problem with the showers, when they were all in use there was no pressure so difficult to use. overall the site is very good.

A great little site

We loved this site, the staff were fantastic, the site was spotless, the play area was perfect for all ages. A little noise from the road during the day but very quiet at night. A perfect site for visiting Windsor and Henley. Thank you for another very pleasant, relaxing break.

Lovely

Close to a busy road - peace and quiet slightly lacking... however, easy to walk in to Henley and then along the Thames path. Wardens helpful and friendly. Toilet & Shower Block clean and warm.
