I'd Find another site if you wish to sleep before midnight!!!
We had looked forward to our long weekend for several weeks and are not usually disappointed by club sites. This site however is special in all the wrong ways. Cars and motorhomes it appears can come and go at all hours slamming doors. I am sure the average cars only has five, not on this site ! You are even allowed to wheel spin motor homes into position in a special way at midnight ! The stream you can just about here over the road noise. You cannot walk you dog around the site !! Does it say this in the site directory NO. You have to walk beside a main road average speed of 50-60 mph ( do not take children). The site is not well kept, water stopped when we arrive, grass is to long the place is not well run give it a miss.. Go somewhere else... Shame the surrounding area is great. This site is rubbish and not up to caravan club standards. Not good for people, dogs, children or any form or human being...
Comment from The Club
Many thanks for leaving a review and we are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay at the site. Regrettably on that particular evening there was a medical emergency which resulted in police cars and an ambulance being despatched to the site in addition to the use of the police helicopter. This naturally resulted in some disturbance with doors being opened and closed and the “wheel spin of a motor home at midnight” was the ambulance arriving. As I am sure you will understand the wardens are responsible for the smooth operation and management of the site as well as the safety of members and the wardens acted in a prompt and responsible manner and worked really hard together with the emergency services. Many apologies if this caused a disturbance to yourselves and other members on site. If you had raised your concerns with the wardens the following morning they would have been able to explain the situation to you.
Regarding dog walking on site. The site at Hebden Bridge is small with only 42 pitches and the symbols in the handbook show “dog walk nearby” rather than “dog walk on site”. The wardens assure me that the site leaflet which is given out to everyone when they arrive states dogs must be walked off site. In addition there is a general information sheet which is handed out which highlights the nearby walk onto the river path or up onto the Moors. This does mean a short 5 minute walk along the B road. This is however, the only way to get to the dog walk which includes a popular walk into Hebden Bridge where many members like to visit the rather unique Lampost Café (a café for dogs) where they serve homemade healthy dog treats and dogs have their own bowl of water!
Regarding the grass length – the wardens assure me that the grass is cut weekly to ensure it meets the standards set by The Club. Once again thank you for leaving a review and we hope this helps to address some of your concerns.

Rest & Recuperation
Very neat
Just had two weeks on this site and found it excellent. It's a small site, but even with all the pitches full it doesn't feel crowded.
No wifi, but we found both 3 & 4G available on EE. TV signal very poor, but the main channels are available using the provided hook up at the bollards.
The site is diligently maintained by the current wardens, who I suspect do more hours than they're paid for.
Their advice was concise, accurate & helpful, and unlike many other sites, the wardens manner were never intrusive.
If I were to visit the immediate area again, this site would be my first choice.
It'll be interesting to see if it's this immaculate when next years wardens take over.
