Beautifully kept site only a 5 minute walk from the centre of Hawes. Wardens are very friendly and pitches well sized. The dog walk area is superb and one of the best I’ve seen - only a shame that so many owners are incapable of clearing up after their dogs. If the hill walking wasn’t keeping me fit, the trudge up the hill to the bins certainly was! I find I’m using more plastic bags now than I used to as need a bag to put my recycling in, where previously I’d just take bits as needed when the bins were closer. Maybe each pitch could be loaned a recycling box to use during their stay? Access to site either from Ingleton or Bedale is good, no issues. Site borders a working farm so if farm noises or smells bother you, best keep to the top end of the site 😂
